Revenir are committed to reducing avoidable paper pushing, whilst supporting the digital receipt eco-system to eliminate un-necessary paper waste. In the UK alone 11 billion paper receipts are issued per annum, with the majority of these ending up in landfill. This comes with a significant environmental cost. We firmly believe that digitisation can be a force for good and we aim to reduce avoidable water consumption, reduce deforestation whilst supporting sustainable development through our business model. Carbon sequestration is essential for the future and longevity of our economy and at Revenir we understand that finance and technology must work to improve, not destroy our planet.

Climate positive financial technology.
The financial services industry and the wider technology sector has not always had the best reputation when it comes to climate positivity. Here at Revenir, we hope to change that. We are conscious about the climate, from our data processing through to our office maintenance. We are exploring partnerships with any organisation that shares these values.
By improving financial efficiency, we believe we can improve energy efficiency and therefore carbon efficiency, all whilst supporting schemes which promote carbon sequestration. Clean, considered digitisation has the power to preserve the environment whilst reducing waste. Eliminating receipts in the retail sector, particularly those that cannot be recycled and use harmful chemicals such as BPA is an important step towards net zero.
Receipt printing in the retail is no longer a requirement or necessity and across the EU, systematic printing of receipts will become prohibited by the end of 2023. Revenir support digitisation and climate positive financial automations which in-turn facilitate the drive towards net zero. To empower further digitisation Revenir are actively seeking partnerships with digital receipt issuers, payment solutions and POS providers capable of enacting change.
